Lyuba's personal touch made the tour a fascinating account of Viennese Modern and Jewish Vienna at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century. Her emphasis on the historical atmosphere, architecture, and art at that time, combined with her personal enthusiasm, made the long tour (4 hrs) and hot weather bearable, keeping the tour exciting all the time.
She demonstrated the strong connection between Viennese Modern and the Jews of Vienna. The tour started with 2.5 hours of a walk through Vienna, emphasizing the different styles of architecture: historical, eclectic, and modern. It was followed up by a permanent exhibition in the Leopold Museum, “Breakthrough into Modernism.” Again, Lyuba provided a very valuable guide to the exhibition.
With her knowledge and excitement, Lyuba provides the best opportunity to become part of that epoch. This is our third visit to Vienna, and Lyuba made it the best.
